Since 2008, Rob Grandy has been based in Hong Kong as the regional market leader of Korn Ferry’s financial services business in Asia Pacific. He is also responsible for the firm’s board consulting business in the region.
Mr. Grandy leverages his extensive senior executive and board level contacts established at Korn Ferry and during almost 25 years as an investment banker to successfully fill clients’s senior-most leadership needs.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Grandy was the global head of Korn Ferry’s financial services business. Before joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Grandy served in a number of successive leadership positions including chairman, deputy chairman and chairman, corporate and institutional client group of Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.
He began his career with Wood Gundy Limited.
He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and Mensa and has served as chairman of the Share Life Corporate Appeal, on the executive committee of the Investment Dealers Association, on the board of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and as an honourary advisor to the Hong Kong Federation of Business Students.
Mr. Grandy earned a master’s of business administration degree from Harvard University and received his bachelor’s of law degree from the University of Toronto.
