Azim Mithani is Chief Operating Officer, Insurance for Prudential Corporation Asia, a role he assumed in July 2015 following a 23-year career at Prudential. He has held a range of senior roles in the UK and Asia, and prior to his current role he was Chief Executive Officer of Prudential BSN Takafuk in Malaysia for six years. Under his leadership, PruBSN grew to be the leading Takaful Operator and continues to deliver strong results and operational performance.
Azim holds a first class Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Physics from the University of Durham and he is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) of the UK.
